there is a tapperd sumpplug for this fix Chris get in touch with somerford minis ithink they stock them if th ey dont they will be able to tell you who does

Well, I guess it starts here!
Decided to change the oil on the new arrival - '91 1380 Mini Cooper.
When trying to put the Sump plug back in, some bits of thread came out. It seems to be secure but I guess that it has been cross threaded at some time.
Is this a case of putting a Helicoil in eventually?
Has anyone out there had a similar problem and what did you do to sort it?
