Have tried an MG in the past and found power up to and beyond 6500 with a 1300 head on a 998.
Hoping for power from 3000 to 7000 with MG head and tricky distributer.
Will let you know - should be ready in about 6 weeks if I ever finish the decorating !!

I think you'll find it OTT. Power from 4000 to 8000 depending on the head/ports.
Would expect the MG Metro cam to be nearer the mark; or maybe 266.

Any one ever put a Kent megadyne 286 cam into a 998 motor ?
Will it work with a big valve head and where is the power at? I'm hoping for power between 3000 and 6500 and wonder if I may be dreaming..!
